New project aims to Ignite Minds
We are very excited to launch our new project, Ignite Minds, supported by the Haydn Green Foundation. It aims to teach an Entrepreneurial Mindset (EIM) through sports-based learning linked to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Children were challenged with tasks that encouraged creativity, collaboration and problem solving. They created mood boards showcasing a sport connected to the SDGs they had studied. These were then presented at a special celebration event at Trent Bridge with an audience of 20 local VIPs from across the East Midlands.
“It has been our pleasure in supporting BEST in primary schools through sport.
The success of the pilot has resulted in us providing further support to BEST to increase the participation of more primary schools.
The BEST delivery team has been excellent in their dedication, collaboration and commitment to delivering shared goals, which has been invaluable in delivering this initiative.
We look forward to continuing to work with the BEST team to expand this initiative.”
